Our guest poets for June, for the Cork Harbour Festival, are Amanda Bell and Susan Rich. Amanda Bell is a Dublin-based poet and is a mentor with the Irish Writers Centre and Words Ireland. She is an assistant editor of The Haibun Journal. Her most recent title is Riptide (Doire Press, September 2021). Ó Bhéal's 9th Winter Warmer (and 1st hybrid) poetry festival videos are now all online. You can enjoy the entire festival at any time. 30 poets were featured, live from eight countries (both in-person and online), plus two poetry workshops, music from Nóirín Ní Riain (in-person), a filmed poetry play, a round table discussion centered on Nurturing Poetry (with event organisers and poets from three port cities), a Many Tongues of Cork event and a closed-mic session. Ó Bhéal's 9th Poetry-Film Competition Shortlist of 30 films from 13 countries is now available to view. The films were projected in Nano Nagle Place and simulcast across two screenings during the 2021 Winter Warmer festival.
