\u00d3 Bh\u00e9al<\/strong><\/font>‘s <\/font>End of Year Event<\/strong><\/font> presents<\/font><\/p>\n Conor McManus<\/strong> (in-person)<\/font> and Leontia Flynn<\/strong> (online)<\/font><\/center><\/p>\n McManus has been short listed for the Fish short story competition on two occasions and won a bursary to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre. He published a chapbook Boy<\/em> (Three Spires Press) in 2020 with a bursary from Roscommon County Council and his debut collection of short stories, Drumshanbo<\/i> was published by Iron Mountain Press in 2021.<\/font><\/p>\n The Lifeboat Press published her pamphlet of Catullus translations, Slim New Book<\/em>, in 2020 and Mariscat her pamphlet Nina Simone is Singing<\/em> in 2021. She lives in Belfast and is Reader at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University. <\/font>

<\/span>Conor Mc Manus <\/strong> is a writer of short stories, memoir and poetry. He has had work published in Southword, The Moth, Crann\u00f3g, The Stinging Fly<\/em> and Force Ten<\/em>. He has read on RT\u00c9 radio, and in the U.K. as part of an artist exchange programme. Has had his story; \u2018Tea Break\u2019 read by a troupe of actors in public performance at the Glens Centre Manorhamilton. <\/p>\n

<\/span>Leontia Flynn <\/strong>has published four collections of poetry with Jonathan Cape, most recently The Radio<\/em> (2017), which was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize and won the Irish Times Poetry Prize. She has also received the Forward prize for best First Collection, the Rooney Prize for Irish literature and the AWB Vincent American Ireland Fund Literary Award. <\/p>\n
