He has had work published in <em>Southword, The Moth, Crann\u00f3g, The Stinging Fly<\/em> and <em>Force Ten<\/em>. He has read on RT\u00c9 radio, and in the U.K. as part of an artist exchange programme. Has had his story; \u2018Tea Break\u2019 read by a troupe of actors in public performance at the Glens Centre Manorhamilton. <\/p>\n<p>McManus has been short listed for the Fish short story competition on two occasions and won a bursary to the Tyrone Guthrie Centre. He published a chapbook <em>Boy<\/em> (Three Spires Press) in 2020 with a bursary from Roscommon County Council and his debut collection of short stories, <i>Drumshanbo<\/i> was published by Iron Mountain Press in 2021.<\/font><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><center>You can listen to Leontia&#8217;s reading <a href=\"https:\/\/www.obheal.ie\/blog\/audio\/Guest Reading - Leontia Flynn-H.mp3\">here<\/a>.<\/center><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: silver;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.obheal.ie\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/LeontiaFlynnSm.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" border=\"1\" align=\"right\"\/><\/span><font size=\"1\"><strong>Leontia Flynn <\/strong>has published four collections of poetry with Jonathan Cape, most recently <em>The Radio<\/em> (2017), which was shortlisted for the T. S. Eliot Prize and won the Irish Times Poetry Prize. She has also received the Forward prize for best First Collection, the Rooney Prize for Irish literature and the AWB Vincent American Ireland Fund Literary Award.  <\/p>\n<p>The Lifeboat Press published her pamphlet of Catullus translations, <em>Slim New Book<\/em>, in 2020 and Mariscat her pamphlet <em>Nina Simone is Singing<\/em> in 2021. Participation in the open-mic session and five word challenge is open to both in-person <em>and<\/em> virtual attendees. The session will be live-streamed  at <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.obheal.ie\/live\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">obheal.ie\/live<\/a><\/b> and via \u00d3 Bh\u00e9al&#8217;s <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vimeo.com\/obheal\">Vimeo<\/a><\/b>, <b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/obheal.poetry\/\">Facebook<\/a><\/b> and <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/obheal\">YouTube <\/a><\/b>channels. <strong><em><font color=\"green\">Note to Participants<\/font><\/em><\/strong>: Our hybrid events are recorded and remain viewable on video via these same channels. <\/p>\n<p><strong>*NB <\/strong>Our 3rd Hybrid event in December will be limited to 30 in-person attendees, in line with HSE guidelines.
